Crescentwood Labradors November 2018

We are pleased to announce a New Litter with Jessie, born on 26th November 2018.

This is the Sire Teak

This is the litter at 10 hours old having a good feed from a very caring Mum.

All the Puppies are growing well and very active.

3rd December 2018

Jessie makes a lovely slide for a bit of  Gymnastics from one of the yellow girls

As you can see just a week old and they have doubled their birth weight.

10th December 2018

All the Puppies have grown a lot and now on average measure 15" from nose to end of tail.
They have all had their first worming session, this is a very messing activity, but necessary.

Mum and a Puppy cleaning up after all the Pups had their first semi-solid feed.
This went down very well and quickly.

17th December 2018

All the Puppies have eyes open and their hearing is definitely working.

The Pups have some Hippo Soft toys to snuggle into.
He may be my brother , but I can't eat a whole one.

The whole litter today 17th December 2018

They are all becoming quite a handful.

Mum continues to feed, but is pleased that they are having some additional semi solid feed.
Particularly as their teeth are coming through, ouch!
They are all going from strength to strength and wobbly walking rather than crawling.

24th December 2018

The Puppies are becoming real little Dogs now, enjoying semi-solid food, lapping water and goats milk, which goes down very well.
A helpful lift up from one of their toys can be useful.

........................And finally after food and play a sleep is needed.

31st December 2018

The Puppies are still have a short feeds from Mum as she asks to do so. This is really brave
as their teeth are well developed.

Most of the feeds are with solid Gain 28% protein, Rabbit & Tripe and Goats Milk.
They have a small selection of soft toy animals sourced from our local charity shop.

They are real little Dogs with individual characters, occasionally quite vocal when playing

The Chocolate called Annie is going to a home with two of our dogs.
One Yellow and the other Black, so this makes up the set.

7th January 2019

All the Puppies love being allowed into the larger areas to investigate and find new things.
We have added some extra soft toys and a large Ball with nobbles on it.

There are many play fights, were they all get the chance to flexible their muscle's,

these are very short periods and within minutes they are all cuddled up and asleep.

Here they all are waiting to go to their New Homes, ......well actually waiting for their Dinners

15th January 2019

The Puppies are 7 weeks old today and have had their first outing in the car to see our Vet at Dragon Veterinary Centre at Cheltenham Racecourse. They were all well behaved and slept after a short while of travelling (in spite of the bumps from the potholes in the road)
and did the same on the way home
We are pleased to report that they all passed the examination with flying colours,
with the Veterinary commenting that they all looked well and are proportioned.
They were all microchipped and received their first vaccination without any reactions.

They are very inquisitive searching everywhere

This is how they leave their food trays.

The Puppies have gone to their New Homes and are all settling in well.
One of the Boys is staying with us and joined in well with all the other Dogs.
We thank you for following our Blog and hope that you have enjoyed following the Puppies development. Hopefully another litter with Jessie's Sister 'Millie' or 'Luna 2' later in the year.

This Blog will be update every Monday with comments and new pictures.
